Based on the Shamanic tradition brought into the mainstream by Michael Harner, we have formed a journeying circle to serve the community and ourselves. "Shamanism is a path of knowledge, not of faith, and that knowledge cannot come from me or anyone else in this reality. To acquire that knowledge, including the knowledge of the reality of the spirits, it is necessary to step through the shaman's doorway and acquire empirical evidence." — Michael Harner, Ph.D. The shamanic journeying circle has been meeting regularly twice a month in Berkeley since 2003. We use the drum as a medium with which to journey. It is a closed circle and occasionally invite new people to participate or to receive a healing. Please contact us if you are interested.
